Thank you for your interest in our upcoming retreat near Glastonbury.
We're currently preparing the details, but to give a brief overview this is a retreat for those who are intrigued about the resurgence in psychedelic assisted therapy, although please note this absolutely does not involve any taking of psychedelics. We neither encourage or discourage your own research into attending retreats or attending research trials that make use of plant medicines.
Instead this retreat is about experientially exploring alternative states through breathwork and brainspotting and creatively sharing information about what is psychedelic assisted therapy/ceremonies, what are the risks involved, why do people feel its helpful, what the legal situation is in the UK. Eppie provides a non-judgemental space to explore this, and is recommended for people curious about the increased media information and want to find out more in a space that is well held and informative. The retreat is also ideally suited for therapists looking to expand their knowledge of working with altered states.
Arrival time: 4pm 10 September 2026
Finishing: 3pm 13 September 2026
Maximum: 10 participants
We are currently working on the details, but please do make contact to register an interest.
“I attended a therapists’ retreat, and I could not have asked for a better experience. The facilitators were extremely knowledgeable, experienced, inclusive, and very heart-centred which made the entire retreat so valuable to me. The space was beautiful and peaceful, and I highly recommend the retreat overall. It was worth a trip over the ocean. I just wish I could do it more often.” (Cindy, North Carolina USA May 2025)
"It is clear that Eppie set out to deliver a retreat to provide therapists with a safe, secure and supportive place to be 100% authentic - and she achieved this in so many ways. The team were knowledgeable, personable, warm and caring. I would thoroughly recommend this to any therapist." (Kara, Bosham Retreat)

When you come to a retreat, you’re bringing something so precious - yourself. All of you. The parts that shine, the parts that struggle, and the parts you might not yet have words for. You deserve a retreat leader who can hold all of that with care.
Whether we’re working with Brainspotting, breathwork, meditation, or movement, setting matters. A safe, attuned, and intentional space allows the nervous system to soften, curiosity to arise, and consciousness to expand. It’s not just the backdrop to the work; it’s part of the work itself.
I draw on over a decade of experience with Brainspotting, a first-class degree in person-centred counselling and private practice, and extensive training in breathwork and altered states of consciousness. I’ve led and supported many retreats and bring more than 20 years’ experience in health, social care, and group leadership.
I am a member of the Institute of Psychedelic Therapists and am currently training on their two year Depth Relational Process course.
What matters most to me is creating a space of safety, warmth, humour, and integrity, where you can explore at your own pace. I don’t promise everything will feel smooth—but I do promise to meet whatever arises with presence, curiosity, and compassion, so you know you are in safe hands.
Whether we’re working with Brainspotting, breathwork, meditation, or movement, setting matters.
Drawing on insights from neuroscience, somatic therapy, and traditional healing practices, we know that the environment in which altered states of consciousness are accessed can shape the depth, safety, and integration of the experience. We feel confident that Tall Trees near Glastonbury provides an ideal setting for this retreat.

Due to accessing altered states through breathwork and brainspotting we ask you to complete a medical questionnaire to ensure that the team can safely hold the space for you, and to understand any contra-indications to any of the activities.
